Can I put a tracker in checked luggage?
Airlines generally permit tags with small non-rechargeable coin cells, and several now explicitly support them for locating delayed bags. Rules do change and vary by carrier, so check your airline before flying rather than relying on this page.
Do these work on Android?
Both picks above rely on Apple’s Find My network, so their usefulness on Android is very limited. Android users should look at trackers built for Google’s own Find My Device network instead — the underlying network is the product, not the tag.
